Connecting youth towards a brighter future

The COOPower project is reaching its end and is hosting a live discussion to celebrate social economy and co-operative enterprises.
Tune in and join our online discussion with two panels of qualified speakers focusing on:

  1. Young People and Social Economy – Working in Times of Challenge. Young social entrepreneurs from the UK, Cyprus, and Croatia, will talk about what it means to have a business with a social impact, share best practices and the challenges Covid-19 brought.
  2. Policy making for Social Economy – The situation in the EU, Greece, Croatia and Cyprus. Policy makers from the EU, Greece, Croatia and Cyprus discuss the current and future prospects of social economy in the region.

COOPower is an EU funded project that aims to raise awareness about co-operative and social economy enterprises as alternative, inclusive, and innovative approaches to tackling youth unemployment, providing practical support to young people in Cyprus, Greece, Hungary, and Croatia. It is implemented by British Council in partnership with the General Secretariat for Vocational Education, Training, Lifelong Learning and Youth of the Hellenic Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs and Step Ri, the Science and Technology Park of the University of Rijeka in Croatia.
